The Compassionate Care Story
Faith Beaver, founder of Compassionate Care Homes, has dedicated her life to healthcare and caregiving. After beginning her career as a CNA, Faith advanced to become an LPN and then an RN. She worked in hospitals and medical centers across Georgia and Washington before discovering the adult family home (AFH) model. She decided to open Graceimani Adult Family Home in November 2021.
Her journey has been shaped by her belief in Imani—faith. She named the home after this concept, reflecting her unwavering commitment to providing residents with the utmost care, integrity, and safety. This deep-seated belief in the power of love and care now also drives the work at her second home, A House by the Lake Adult Family Home.
Our Homes
A House by the Lake Adult Family Home offers a private, serene setting in a gated community by a private lake in Maple Valley. Both homes provide an intimate atmosphere, with six beds per home, ensuring that every resident receives the attention and care they deserve.
Graceimani Adult Family Home is nestled in a quiet, safe neighborhood in the East Hill of Kent, Washington. This home provides a peaceful environment where residents can enjoy comfort and personalized care.

Our staff are the heart of who we are. We pride ourselves on employing compassionate, well-trained professionals who understand the importance of individualized care. Our team is highly qualified, including experienced caregivers who undergo regular training to stay up-to-date with the latest in elderly care, medication management, and safety procedures. From certified nursing assistants (CNAs) to registered nurses (RNs), our staff is dedicated to going above and beyond to meet the needs of each resident.

We provide a range of care services including dementia care, mental health support, end-of-life care, respite care, IV therapy (short-term), and mobility support. Do you have staff available 24/7?
Yes, our homes are staffed 24/7 with at least 2 caregivers per 6 residents. We also have awake staff at night to ensure all residents receive the care and attention they need around the clock.
Do you accept insurance or Medicaid?
We accept various forms of payment, including private pay, insurance, and Medicaid. Please contact us for specific details and to discuss eligibility.
What is an Adult Family Home?
An Adult Family Home is a residential care facility that provides personalized care for adults who need assistance with daily living activities. They offer a home environment where residents receive individualized care in a more intimate setting compared to larger institutions.
What types of activities are available?
We offer personalized activities based on each resident’s interests and abilities. Activities include music sessions, TV in every room, and outings to nearby locations. We also have a weekly activities schedule and can arrange specific requests for our residents.
What are your visiting hours?
Our homes are open to the public from 8am to 8pm daily. Family members and friends are welcome to check in and visit as they please. We also offer updates for families who cannot visit in person.
